and not talking no for an answer. Had a truly awarding experience on Saturday when Mum and Dad went for pub lunch and they were all so well behaved. I went to order food and get drinks and expected to come back to Mum running around the garden after them to find them sat next to Mum at the table. All sat at the table outside, ate all their lunch and were an absolute dream. I do believe everyone was as amazed at their behaviour, no mess and clean plates!! Have to admit we were also surprised. All the hard work and constant reminders not to get up from their high chairs seem to be working. We went on holiday to Turkey this summer and have to say it was great but a mission travelling with the extended party of 9. No lost luggage this time but interesting upon arrival to have a 3 hour wait for luggage as belt broken and no luggage trolleys. With 10 suitcases, 8 cabin bags, luggage, two double buggies and 4 toddles. At least we did not have to cook and clean up after every meal and they loved the pool and the weather was lovely. Not sure what the plan is for next year!

It's been a mad few months. The babies are developing rapidly, it won't be long till there all walking. We've had there first birthday party back in March. Mum, Nan and our dedicated team of helpers are busy most days with the babies and various meets ups and outings. I got the chance to go last week to Wantage Park and they love the swings. So cool as we can get two of them together in one swing at the moment back to back!! Documentary as been aired and with 3.5 million viewers clearly it was watched by a lot of people!!! Mum enjoyed our trip up to London with the babies for The Lorraine Show. Nearly a bit a a melt down at the hotel the night before as they did not have 4 high chairs and cots were not in our rooms as requested on arrival. People don't understand we need to be so organised and you don't mess with the routine unless you want 4 screaming babies!!! Amazing the quads are now 1 years old! It's been an amazing year. Cannot believe how much had happened. Mum and Dad are busy 24 hours a day. It's hugely challenging at times but worth it 100 %. They are growing up rapidly and James is the first to start crawling. There's been little sleep for patents of babies recently given colds and teeth coming through. Birthday party amazing and many thanks Costco for donating food for the celebration, really appreciated as it's been one very expensive year and it just keeps going! Next major purchase will be 4 new car seats. Cannot believe the isofix bases I got (for maxi cosi easy fix) are all no good for forward facing seats and need to be replaced. I assumed you could get forward facing seats to fit the Easyfix base units, no I was wrong!!!!! So if anyone would like to donate us 5 forward facing car seats please contact us!!! Will probably need them around August time. So much has happened since Christmas, boys have bottom teeth, lounge is full of bouncers play pen, books, toys, baby chairs as still do bottle feeds in them just before bed. James even drank his brother bottle while lying on the floor this morning!!!! Thanks to all the kind people that have helped us over the last 12 months. We really appreciate it. So looking forward to them all crawling and talking. Lots happened over last 2 months. Babies all progressing well and now eating baby food as well as milk. So feeds taking longer than before! They much prefer dad's homemade baby food! We all went swimming a few weeks ago. They all did very well and even managed being dunked under water. Mum now going every week at Waterbabies in Newbury. We're all looking forward to Christmas, stockings hung on the fireplace, so cute with personalised stockings for the babies. Even managed visit to Newbury Christmas market last night. First visit to see Santa for the babies! Babies have also been Christened and no tears and everyone all well behaved. Great to see everyone afterwards and catch up. So BA ticket desk managed to get us on the next flight! Mum not happy at all about another 5 hours at airport but not much we can do. Meet some wonderful people on the flight that help Dad with relay required to get them all nappy changed in the toilets. We manage to take out a toilet for a good 30 mins! They even help feeding so we can take shifts feeding ourselves as well as holding babies and feeding them! The Australians at the back of the plane request to hold them so we agree to post pics of them in return! |
